Adaptive Health Integrations Provides Notice of Data Security Incident
Williston, North Dakota, April 11, 2022 – Between April 5, 2022 and April 12, 2022 Adaptive Health Integration is notifying specific individuals about a recent data security incident involving our systems. Specifically, on or about October 17, 2021, an nauthorized individual may have accessed a limited amount of data stored on our systems. Upon learning of the issue, we contained the threat by disabling unauthorized access to our network and commenced a prompt and thorough investigation with assistance from external cybersecurity professionals.
Through an extensive investigation and an internal review, which concluded on February 23, 2022, we determined that certain potentially accessed data contained personal information such as names, dates of birth, contact information, and Social Security numbers. This incident does not affect all Adaptive Health Integrations patients and not all information was included for all individuals.
Notified individuals are being provided with best practices to protect their information, including but not limited to reviewing the explanation of benefits statements they receive from their health insurance providers and following up on any items or services not recognized. Individuals whose Social Security number was determined to have been potentially impacted are being provided with complimentary credit monitoring services.
